Acupuncture Internships

Program Description

The acupuncture intern will be in a general practice learning phase which will last 6 months, consisting of 116 clinical hours in basic practice management and technology skills. Our partnerships with local oriental medicine schools enables us to create opportunities where you can develop and grow your experience in a professional setting. This period of acupuncture internship is easily arranged so as to avoid conflict with the intern’s school schedule. Minimum requirement for semester internships are 2 days per week*. 
Supervision will be by a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM). The acupuncture intern will be supervised by the Doctor. The supervision is proximal, continual, and based on normative and summative evaluations following AcuMantras guidelines.

We conduct research and collect data utilizing clinical outcomes to prove the validity of East Asian Medicine. We seek to educate the community about East Asian treatments and expand the education of physicians to achieve excellent patient care results.
